As part of our international expansion and dedication to excellence, we recently sent our esteemed Head of Drug and Explosives Dog Training, John, to our sister branch, K9 Metropolitan Specialists Malaysia. With 11 years of experience in the UK police force and over 25 years of expertise in training drug and explosives detection dogs worldwide, John's visit was instrumental in sharing best practices and enhancing operational standards.
Joining him on this important trip was Andy, a highly respected expert with 23 years of service in the MOD Police and various agencies as a dog handler and trainer across all categories. Their primary mission was to deliver a specialised seminar, ensuring that the K9 Metropolitan Specialists Malaysia team continues to uphold the highest standards of training, knowledge, and operational efficiency.
Beyond training, this visit allowed us to oversee facilities, assess staff progress, and reinforce the values and operational excellence that define K9 Metropolitan Specialists UK. This trip demonstrated the strength of our international network and reaffirmed that Malaysia is truly our second home.
We are also delighted to announce that K9 Metropolitan Specialists Malaysia secured a significant new contract during this visit, further cementing our presence in the region. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and expertise that our teams bring to the field. Such a milestone called for a well-earned celebration, marking not just another business success but a strategic step forward in our global expansion.
